1. Liability for Content

The information provided on this website is offered “as is” and is subject to change without notice. To the fullest extent permitted by law, DoggyBagTours GmbH:

  • Excludes all liability for damages arising out of or in connection with the use of this website. This includes, but is not limited to, direct loss, loss of business or profits (whether foreseeable or not), damage to computer systems, software, or data, and any other consequential, indirect, or incidental damages.

  • Does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or currency of the website’s content. The use of this website and its information is at the user’s own risk.

  • Using this website does not establish a contractual relationship with DoggyBagTours GmbH.

In accordance with § 7(1) TMG (German Telemedia Act), we are responsible for our own content on this site. However, we are not obligated to monitor third-party information or investigate indications of illegal activity (§§ 8-10 TMG). 2. Copyright

Participants and guests of DoggyBagTours GmbH activities may appear in photographic material under §§ 22 and 23 of the German KUG. By participating, participants consent to the use of their likeness for promotional purposes.

  • Guests who do not wish to grant such rights should inform the tour guide in advance and avoid the camera. Post-tour objections can be communicated for editing requests within 30 days of the event.

  • DoggyBagTours GmbH retains photographic material for marketing purposes, stored securely, and used responsibly.

The content and layout of this website are protected under German copyright law. Reproduction, distribution, or use beyond private purposes requires prior written consent. Contributions by third parties are marked as such.

3. Payment Policy

Payment is required prior to booking confirmation for groups exceeding ten participants. Accepted payment methods include:

  • Credit Cards (Mastercard, Visa)

  • PayPal

  • Wire Transfers

Alternative arrangements or credit terms may be agreed upon in writing with prior approval. Refunds or adjustments for payment errors will be processed within 14 business days.

4. Tour Safety

Participants join tours at their own risk and must:

  • Ensure they have personal liability and health insurance.

  • Comply with German traffic regulations (StVO).

  • Inform the guide of any medical conditions or concerns that may affect their ability to participate.

  • Double-check the condition of bicycles and helmets before departure, even though DoggyBagTours GmbH takes great care in maintaining equipment responsibly.

  • Wear a helmet—obligatory for minors and strongly recommended for adults. Helmets are available free of charge; please ask a team member to provide one due to the risk of theft when left unattended.

  • Check weather conditions in advance and dress appropriately for the tour.

Participants are responsible for returning all equipment in working order. Breakdowns or thefts that are deemed the participant’s responsibility will be charged accordingly.

The guide reserves the right to exclude participants who are unfit for the activity due to inebriation, lack of experience, or other safety concerns. Disruptive behavior may result in removal from the tour without refund.

5. Limitation of Liability

DoggyBagTours GmbH is not liable for:

  • Route changes or schedule adjustments caused by unforeseen circumstances (e.g., construction, public events).

  • Injuries or damages caused by participants’ actions, negligence, or failure to follow instructions.

  • Damage caused by the improper functioning of bicycles, whether rented or privately owned.

Claims are limited to the value of services provided. Participants must report defects or issues immediately to the guide or via the provided contact information.

6. Cancellation Policy

Refunds for cancellations are offered as follows:

  • 100% refund if canceled more than 28 days before the tour.

  • 75% refund if canceled 7–14 days prior.

  • 50% refund if canceled 3–7 days prior.

  • 10% refund if canceled less than 72 hours before the tour.

In the case of extreme weather, alternative arrangements may include:

  • Rescheduling the tour to an available date.

  • Offering a walking tour or indoor activity.

  • Providing protective gear (helmets, ponchos, gloves) at no additional cost.

Refunds are processed within 14 business days.

7. Bookings Through Third-Party Affiliates

Bookings made via third-party affiliate partners, including but not limited to GetYourGuide, Baja Bikes, and TUI, fall under the responsibility and jurisdiction of the respective booking platform. Any issues, disputes, or insurance claims should be directed to the affiliate partner through whom the booking was made.

Bookings made directly through DoggyBagTours GmbH fall under the insurance coverage of our parent company, Storytellers B.V., based in Heemstede, the Netherlands. All such bookings are processed via Fairharbour and are subject to their terms and conditions (AGB).

8. Bike Rental Terms

Rental agreements require the customer to:

  • Present valid identification.

  • Secure the bicycle against theft using provided locks.

  • Report damage, loss, or theft immediately.

Key policies include:

  • Customers are liable for damages incurred during the rental period.

  • Repairs must be conducted by DoggyBagTours GmbH.

  • Theft or unreturned bicycles must be reported to the police, and customers may be charged for replacement costs.

9. Governing Law

All agreements and disputes are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, with Berlin as the place of jurisdiction. Disputes may be resolved through mediation or arbitration prior to legal action.

You are Dutch-speaking (English is a plus) and passionate about Berlin. You have demonstrable management experience or experience in a coordinating role. You have a strong sense of responsibility and are a natural problem-solver . A category B driver's license is required, and you are familiar with driving vans. A combined BE driver's license is a significant advantage. You are flexible, stress-resistant , and can quickly switch between different tasks. Tour Guide Tasks: (if you so choose)

Lead groups of tourists on bike tours through Berlin and Potsdam. Share engaging stories about Berlin’s history, culture, and hidden gems. Provide excellent customer service, ensuring every tour is memorable.

What We’re Looking For

Technical Expertise: Proven experience with Nexus hub gears and e-bike hub motor systems. Strong troubleshooting and bike repair skills. Language Skills: Fluency in Dutch, German, or English (additional languages are a plus).

Personal Qualities:

Wat ga je doen?

Afhankelijk van jouw opleiding en interesses werk je mee aan uitdagende projecten binnen één van de volgende richtingen:

1. Marketing & Communicatie

Ontwikkelen en uitvoeren van social media-campagnes. Creëren van content (video’s, blogs, foto’s) om ons bereik te vergroten. Analyseren van onze doelgroep en trends in de toerismesector. Voorbeeldproject: Creëer een promotiecampagne voor een nieuwe educatieve tour gericht op scholen in Nederland en Vlaanderen.

2. Toerisme & Onderwijs

Ontwikkelen van educatieve tourconcepten voor scholieren en studenten. Samenwerken met docentenopleidingen en scholen om tours te verbinden met lesprogramma’s. Begeleiden en testen van proefgroepen tijdens nieuwe tours. Voorbeeldproject: Ontwikkel een interactieve tour over de Berlijnse Muur met werkbladen voor scholieren.

3. Bedrijfskunde & Management

Optimaliseren van interne processen zoals planningen en logistiek. Ondersteunen bij financiële analyses en strategische beslissingen. Voorbeeldproject: Voer een SWOT-analyse uit en presenteer aanbevelingen voor nieuwe markten.

4. IT/Digitalisering

Ontwikkelen van een interactieve app of digitale tools voor klanten. Integreren van gamification-elementen in onze tours. Voorbeeldproject: Creëer een zelfgeleide fietstour-app met interactieve opdrachten en quizzen.
