You're responsible, flexible, and ready to take over or resolve tasks as needed. Whether it's coordinating guides, handling unexpected challenges, or leading a tour yourself, you're the ultimate standby.
What
does your role entail?
- Management and coordination: You support daily operational tasks, plan tours, manage guides and maintain the high quality of our tours.
- Stand-by guide: You step in as a guide when needed and support the team on location.
- Sense of responsibility: You are a natural leader who can replace management in their absence and monitor day-to-day operations.
- Transport and logistics: You are responsible for transporting bicycles and materials with our vans and ensuring that everything is on time and in the right place.

What We’re Looking For
You are Dutch-speaking (English is a plus) and passionate about Berlin.
You have demonstrable management experience or experience in a coordinating role.
You have a strong sense of responsibility and are a natural problem-solver .
A category B driver's license is required, and you are familiar with driving vans.
A combined BE driver's license is a significant advantage.
You are flexible, stress-resistant , and can quickly switch between different tasks.
You are willing to combine management duties with guiding.

Your Responsibilities
Bike Mechanic Tasks:
Maintain and repair our fleet, including Nexus hub gears and e-bike hub motors.
Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues promptly and efficiently.
Ensure all bikes are safe, functional, and tour-ready.
Tour Guide Tasks: (if you so choose)
Lead groups of tourists on bike tours through Berlin and Potsdam.
Share engaging stories about Berlin’s history, culture, and hidden gems.
Provide excellent customer service, ensuring every tour is memorable.
What We’re Looking For
Technical Expertise:
Proven experience with Nexus hub gears and e-bike hub motor systems.
Strong troubleshooting and bike repair skills.
Language Skills:
Fluency in Dutch, German, or English (additional languages are a plus).
Personal Qualities:

Afhankelijk van jouw opleiding en interesses werk je mee aan uitdagende projecten binnen één van de volgende richtingen:
1. Marketing & Communicatie
Ontwikkelen en uitvoeren van social media-campagnes.
Creëren van content (video’s, blogs, foto’s) om ons bereik te vergroten.
Analyseren van onze doelgroep en trends in de toerismesector.
Voorbeeldproject: Creëer een promotiecampagne voor een nieuwe educatieve tour gericht op scholen in Nederland en Vlaanderen.
2. Toerisme & Onderwijs
Ontwikkelen van educatieve tourconcepten voor scholieren en studenten.
Samenwerken met docentenopleidingen en scholen om tours te verbinden met lesprogramma’s.
Begeleiden en testen van proefgroepen tijdens nieuwe tours.
Voorbeeldproject: Ontwikkel een interactieve tour over de Berlijnse Muur met werkbladen voor scholieren.
3. Bedrijfskunde & Management
Optimaliseren van interne processen zoals planningen en logistiek.
Ondersteunen bij financiële analyses en strategische beslissingen.
Voorbeeldproject: Voer een SWOT-analyse uit en presenteer aanbevelingen voor nieuwe markten.
4. IT/Digitalisering
Ontwikkelen van een interactieve app of digitale tools voor klanten.
Integreren van gamification-elementen in onze tours.
Voorbeeldproject: Creëer een zelfgeleide fietstour-app met interactieve opdrachten en quizzen.
